General Requirements
All DoReMi volunteers are expected to act professionally and respectfully when performing at senior communities. The following guidelines help ensure a smooth and positive experience for everyone.
Performance Guidelines
Be on time: Arrive punctually and follow the performance schedule.
Dress appropriately: Wear recital attire suitable for a public performance.
No food or drinks: Food and beverages are not allowed in the performance area.
Supervision: Performers under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Stay in designated areas: Do not enter other parts of the facility without permission.
Be respectful: Treat residents, staff, and fellow performers with kindness and consideration.
Follow health guidelines: Follow any rules set by the facility (e.g., masks, hygiene, etc.).
Perform with care: Regardless of audience size, give your best performance.
Communicate changes: If you are late, sick, or cannot attend, notify DoReMi as soon as possible.
Responsibility: Parents/guardians are responsible for the performer’s actions and any damages.
Privacy and Media
Your information: Personal information collected through Do-Re-Mi’s application form is used only for volunteer evaluation and performance coordination. This information will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
Photos/videos: Recording is allowed as long as it does not disrupt the performance.
Get permission: Always ask before including residents in photos or videos.
Sharing media: You may choose to share photos/videos with DoReMi for use on our website or social media (optional).
